Creative Apartment Furniture Idea

Hurricane Katrina took away all the lovely furnishings that had been gathered over 48 years by my family.  Deciding that an apartment was now best for my new lifestyle, I quickly learned that small closets and pantries posed a major problem.  I began looking at furniture that would be functional, provide storage, and beautifully enhance my limited living space.

Every apartment in my building has basically the same floor plan, but I was determined to make mine creatively different.  Every piece I bought has fulfilled my expectations and garnered countless compliments.  I even adapted my Hooker Furniture bookcase to house a television set.  These pieces meet my functional needs and my creative, which still desires beauty in the home.
