Modern Dining Room Furniture to Display Our Special Dishes

After unpacking our kitchen appliances, dishes, and accessories, Peter and I quickly realized that we didn’t have a place to display our nice serving dishes & vases.  Although we have plenty of shelf space, a lot of our dishes were too big or awkwardly shaped to even fit into our normal cabinets.  We were also missing storage space for kitchen linens, dish towels, and napkins.  With a big empty space on one wall, we decided it was time to get some modern dining room furniture  to properly store some of our things.

There are a few options from Envision Furniture for china storage such as the Kemperton China Cabinet in  Dark Tobacco  or Chestnut  finishes.  The new dining selections from the Kendra collection also offer a variety of kitchen storage options with the Credenza  and Sliding Door Hutch  combination.  I particularly like the creative & attractive wine storage capabilities in this piece.  The Kendra Multiuse Console  is also great for storing all your kitchen linens. 

We happened across two matching pieces at a local consignment store in Greensboro called Consignment 1st.  One is great for storing linens in the drawers, and the other piece has additional storage for dishes or other miscellaneous items in the bottom cupboard.  I like that both pieces have lots of storage at eye level for our teapot collection & serving dishes.  Now we even have room to get more teapots!
